Event Staff
About the role
Event Staff are part of the Setup and Logistics team that provides event and logistics services for the client. This is a good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Responsibilities
- Set up and remove event equipment, tables, chairs, and assist with "back of house" event functions for all internal events.
- Act independently on event sites with limited supervision while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.
- Drop off tables, chairs, and other items to each campus.
- Read work orders.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Drive vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
- May be expected to make basic repairs.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten‑year work history if available.
- Preferred: customer service experience.
- Preferred: ability to read and write in English.
- Preferred: valid driver’s license and ability to drive the company’s vehicle.
- Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
Pay
$18.00 per hour (specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, location, and market data).
Schedule
Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
