Event Security Officer

GardaWorld is expanding its Event Services Team and seeking dynamic, customer-focused Security Events Officers for Concierge posts in the Greater Los Angeles area.

About the role

As a Security Events Officer – Concierge, you’ll deliver best-in-class customer service at high-end events, interact with guests across all shifts, and work in fast-paced, high-energy environments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control and credential verification (wristbands, badges, digital crew lists)
• Monitor guest flow, prevent entry bottlenecks, and manage high-density event zones
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• State security license and 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during hiring)

Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.
