About the role
Earn extra income in Nashville, TN with flexible part-time shifts—evenings and weekends available. This position is responsible for checking bags, enforcing access control, and implementing policies and procedures for the safety of guests and owners, while providing superior customer service for the best guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
- Allow appropriate entry into each venue; may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
- Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
- Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints.
- Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and provide escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
- Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your assigned location.
- Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have an active TN Guard Card or be willing to obtain one (training provided for those who advance in the hiring process).
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company-owned vehicle.
- Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Pay
$17/hr starting pay with weekly pay.
