About the role
Furtado Global is building a roster of trusted local reps to run our live shows on the ground — city by city. We're hiring local reps in: NYC · London · Washington DC · Los Angeles · Atlanta · Toronto · Miami · Philadelphia · Houston · Dallas · Chicago · Bay Area · Boston (Plus occasional shows in Seattle, Las Vegas, Charlotte, New Orleans, Detroit, Austin, Nashville, and more.)
You'd be Furtado Global's person on the ground on show day — our on-site promoter rep and the primary point of contact at the venue. We handle all the advancing internally; you'll get the full brief, show notes, tech sheets, and day sheet ahead of time. Your job is to execute it flawlessly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee load-in and load-out with venue staff and crew
- Make sure hospitality, the green room, and rider items are set up right
- Troubleshoot tech issues fast — sound, staging, lighting, power
- Look after the talent — greet them, manage their needs, keep them comfortable and on schedule
- Keep the show on time and adapt calmly when plans change last minute
- Send the internal team a quick post-show wrap
Requirements
- Proven live-event / show-production experience — you've run or stage-managed live shows, club nights, or concerts before
- Sound knowledge — you're a proficient sound engineer, or you have solid working knowledge of live audio and can speak the language with FOH/venue techs
- Grace under pressure — you handle last-minute changes in a high-pressure environment without losing the plot
- Reliable and detail-obsessed — you read the brief, follow the day sheet, and sweat the details
- Great with people and talent — professional, warm, and able to keep artists happy
- Local to one of our markets — you live in the city you'd cover and can work shows there without travel (covering a nearby market within a 2–3 hour drive is a bonus)
Pay
- Freelance / independent contractor (1099), paid per event
- Competitive day rate — $250–$600 per show depending on market, show size, and call length. Paid promptly after each event.
Schedule
- Evening and weekend availability when shows happen
