About the role

This role is hybrid in the West Phoenix area. The Events Marketing Coordinator will travel to schools in the Gilbert/West Phoenix areas. The role is 40 hours per week through January 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the parents and the school
  • Assist with and create family engagements at the school, provide outreach to parents on behalf of the school
  • Focus on two of the locations building and nurturing relationships within the K-12 community, involving fundraising and community relations
  • Organize and attend various community events to engage and promote fundraising priorities
  • Comfortable with social media and posting content (FB, IG)

Requirements

  • 1+ year of working within the community on events or fundraising/community or non-profit support experience
  • Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Constant Contact)
  • Familiarity with posting on social platforms for business purposes, specifically Facebook and Instagram
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment
  • Bonus if you're bilingual in Spanish

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

Pay

The pay range for this role is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.

Schedule

The Events Marketing Coordinator will be onsite 20 hours per week at their location in Gilbert and 20 hours at their home office also in Phoenix.
