EVENT INSTALLER / DRIVER

Responsibilities

• Operating box trucks and vans, safely loading and unloading gear, dropping off/picking up crews to event venues.
• Demonstrate safe driving skills, remain customer-focused, and display a strong work ethic.
• Setting and striking drape, furniture, and hardware at event venues, working with and as part of a team of installers.
• Completing warehouse tasks after on-site work is finished.
• Delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements

• Prior customer service-related job experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding of hotel/convention docks.
• Able to execute consecutive events while handling the associated stresses and challenges.
• Can positively interact with team members and customers on a daily basis and be open to constructive criticism.
• A great attitude and great customer service skills.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Maintain a professional appearance, have reliable transportation, and be punctual.
• Is able to problem solve and prioritize needs while on jobsites.
• Is able to handle team dynamics, and customer service issues on a daily basis.
• Workload varies from 0-30+ hours per week based on volume and availability.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Prior Box Truck / Van driving background and able to drive Quest light-duty vans.
• Pass Quest-generated written and practical driving tests.
• Submit to an annual driving record review (No DUIs, etc).
• This position is required to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Must be able to pass written and practical driving tests.
• Must be able to drive all company vehicles, including medium-duty trucks (such as 16' box truck).
