Event Customer Support Specialist
About the Role
This Event Customer Support Specialist role operates within event management and marketing for corporate events, product launches, brand activations, creative design, and experiential campaigns. The position focuses on specialized event customer support and service resolution, distinct from generic travel agency support. Decisions must reflect the unique demands of event management and marketing contexts.
Operational Priorities
- Coordinate event customer support with issue resolution, ensuring every checkpoint leaves a visible source, owner, status, and next action. Work follows an event-focused, customer-focused, and support-specialized execution profile.
- Review global events role documentation with status tracking, maintaining visibility of source, owner, status, and next steps.
- Document case management with deadline management, ensuring traceability and accountability.
- Maintain documentation and reporting to support transparency and workflow continuity.
- Reconcile quality control with workflow management to prevent downstream rework and surface repeated errors.
Decision Quality Standards
Strong event customer support means service resolution remains usable under the specific demands of event management and marketing. Completed work must be traceable, unresolved items must have clear owners, and errors must be identified before causing rework.
Key Strengths
- Use Strive Global Events Workflow Context and Customer Service tools confidently in an event-focused, support-specialized environment.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to maintain clarity in reasoning.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up, especially when support depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
The role-specific handoff test combines quality control, record management, and customer service; work remains open until these signals are current and verified.
