Event Bartender - Circuit of the Americas

About the role

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. Proof of the Pudding, operator of COTA Catering, is seeking Hospitality Bartenders to join the Premium team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities
• Sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product
• Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift (if applicable)
• Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service
• Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event
• Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice
• Record closing inventory
• Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed
• Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of bartending experience
• Must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training)
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
• Availability for the Grand Prix F1 Race October 18-20 is strongly preferred

Work Environment

The work environment for this position will work out of and report to Circuit of the Americas. Events may be indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. This position will often move throughout the grounds and venue on different terrains.

Pay

This is considered a part-time hourly position. Schedules will range upon business demands.
