About the role

The Part-Time Barista will provide exceptional hospitality, quality beverages and products while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and go the extra mile to make their customer’s day with a perfect cup of coffee or beverage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve consistently outstanding beverages by adhering to recipe standards.
• Proactively engage with customers to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Refill cold brew kegs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized space for guests and coworkers in all areas of the coffee bar.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, inventory and stock work.
• On occasion work overtime for special events.
• Aid with a variety of duties and tasks as directed.

Requirements

• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Thrived in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working a flexible schedule when needed.
• 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and healthy respect for cleanliness.
• Reliable and consistent - Must be available for overtime for special events or meetings.
• Professional behavior and appearance at all times.

Pay

The pay for this role is $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

The Part-Time Barista works a flexible schedule, typically 12 hours per week, with some flexibility to accommodate special events and meetings.
