Event Assistant - Florida

About the role

Curate Group is a dynamic events and experiences company creating unforgettable moments that bring people together. They specialize in unique, high-quality live events — from large-scale festivals and immersive concerts to cultural experiences and corporate events partnering with some of the world’s most exciting brands. This position is with Lumos Experiences, transforming stunning churches and unique venues into magical candlelit concert settings every weekend across the Florida area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting event setup and venue transformation
• Creating the signature candlelit atmosphere that makes events unforgettable
• Managing guest check-in and seating operations
• Coordinating with musicians, venue staff, and fellow team members
• Overseeing event flow from setup through breakdown
• Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience
• Troubleshooting issues with confidence, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lead independently and make decisions under pressure
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Availability on Fridays and Saturdays
• Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel throughout the Florida area (up to approximately 2.5 hours when needed)
• Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or management experience is a plus, but not required

Pay

From $25.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time position requiring availability on Fridays and Saturdays. Flexible schedule with opportunity for additional hours as the company grows. Work location is in-person throughout the Florida area.
