Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patient behavior and report changes to mental health professionals.
• Support therapeutic programs and group activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity at all times.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Enforce safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Keep accurate records of patient interactions and care.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant training or certification in mental health or substance use (preferred).
• Prior experience in a security role or mental health setting (desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage crises and defuse stressful situations.
• Understanding of mental health, substance use, and recovery principles.
