Evening Shift Team Leader

We are a leading supplier of private label solutions in the automotive industry, focusing on designing, manufacturing, and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports, and specialty filter markets. Our supply chain network spans across the Pacific and into South America.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily department production goals and prioritize workload demands to ensure maximum productivity is achieved.
• Assign and/or adjust workflow as needed and verify work activities are consistent with quality and work instructions.
• Monitor key performance indicators of the department.
• Report any issues of non-conformance, performance, or compliance to the Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments and external customers as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines of the department and general warehouse standards are met.
• Participate in daily meetings to provide departmental status updates.

Requirements

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to instruct, direct, and lead a team of hourly associates.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to become certified and operate powered industrial trucks.
