Evening & Overnight Retail Security Officer – Garden City, NY | $18.54/hr.| Driver's License Required

About the Role

We are seeking professional Retail Security Officers to join our team at a busy mall on Long Island. Whether you're looking for full-time stability or part-time flexibility, we have positions to match your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong, visible presence to deter theft and ensure public safety
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including stores, parking areas, and common spaces
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents promptly and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures
• Collaborate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency services when needed
• Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• Must be willing to travel to Garden City, NY
• Valid NYS Security Guard License required
• Valid NYS Driver’s License + Clean Driving Record required
• Must be willing to work the following shifts: Saturday through Tuesday (4:00PM to 12:00AM) & Thursday (12:00AM to 8:00AM)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to customer service
• Prior retail or mall security experience is a plus
