Evening Home Care Scheduler

About the role

As the Evening Scheduler, you'll be the key link between clients, caregivers, and our office team. This role is fast-paced and rewarding, requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You'll make sure schedules run smoothly, caregivers are supported, and clients receive the quality care they deserve.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and professionally, assisting clients and caregivers with scheduling needs
• Build and maintain client schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered
• Fill open shifts quickly and communicate assignments to clients, caregivers, and responsible parties
• Monitor missed or late shifts, follow up with caregivers, and keep clients informed
• Send detailed shift reports to the care team
• Step in during call-outs to find coverage and keep services consistent
• Work closely with the operations team to anticipate staffing needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience working with adults in acute care, residential, or long-term care settings
• Preferred: Experience supporting older adults with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Must be adaptable in a dynamic, client-focused environment

Schedule

Monday - Friday 12:30 - 9 pm
