Evening Family Program Teacher

Position Summary/Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and cleaning classrooms and shared spaces for nightly activities.
• Plan and execute lessons for multilingual learners in PreK‑12th grade.
• Collaborate to plan and execute activities for parents and families of English language learners.
• Engage with students and families and support culturally responsive education practices in evening programming.

Minimum Requirements

• Current GTA

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons for evening programming to support language acquisition.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and be flexible based on student and family attendance for a given evening.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.

Work Details

Salary: Extra Work per GTA Bargaining Unit (see contracts).
Schedule: 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, 2.5 hours daily, for the 2026‑2027 work year.
