About the role

The pay for this position starts at $20.50/hour, with additional compensation up to $23.87/hour based on education and experience. Schedules include Double Sunday (7am - 11pm), Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. This position is located in Fitchburg, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and security of all youth as assigned.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
  • Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement.
  • Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills.
  • Complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
  • Able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
  • MUST be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
