Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and procedures.
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, moving furniture and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities; enable and disable security system as required.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn; on‑the‑job training provided for those with strong work ethic.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Ability to be flexible, work at a fast‑pace, and handle multi‑tasked assignments.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, be dependable, on time, and in uniform.
• Respect and understanding for co‑workers and customers.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward.
• Ability to lift and/or carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
