Evening Babysitter for Toddlers

About the role

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging babysitter for two children in the evenings in Fort Worth, TX (76012, 2 miles from UTA campus). This is a part‑time position with flexible hours. The role focuses on toddler development, especially expressive language, communication, and early cognitive skills through reading, conversation, songs, puzzles, imaginative play, and other age‑appropriate activities. No pets are in the home.

Responsibilities

• Encourage language development and learning through interactive activities.
• Engage children in developmentally appropriate play, including reading, songs, puzzles, and imaginative play.
• Prepare simple meals as needed.
• Manage the evening routine, including feeding and changing an infant.
• Perform light housework related to the children’s care.

Qualifications

• Interest or background in early childhood education, child development, speech/language, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working with toddlers, including language and cognitive skill development.
• Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
• Reliable transportation to the Fort Worth location.

Schedule

Evening shifts with flexible hours. Initial dates: Start on Tue, Sep 22 2026 at 7:00 PM and end on Wed, Sep 23 2026 at 12:00 AM. Ongoing schedule to be determined based on availability.
