About the role
Reliable and motivated babysitter to care for two teenagers in Oakland, CA. A parent will be present 80% of the time. Non-smoking applicants only. No pets are present in the household.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with schoolwork
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Managing schedules using Google Calendar
- Transportation to activities (personal vehicle necessary)
Schedule
- Start date: Monday, September 7, 2026
- First shift: 8:30 PM to 1:30 AM (following day)
- Regular weekdays: 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM or 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Potential for extended hours, weekend, evening, and overnight work
Qualifications
- College student preferred
- Male preferred
- Flexibility and organization
- Valid personal vehicle for transportation
- Non-smoking
- Completion of one-month onboarding process including background check and fingerprinting
Pay & benefits
- Starting pay: $25 per hour
- Potential increase to $30 based on experience and tenure
