Evening Babysitter for School-age Child

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our 8-year-old autistic son on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities

• Meet our son off the school bus
• Give him a prepared snack
• Supervise his playtime

He enjoys swinging in the fenced-in yard, arranging dinosaurs and farm animals, and dancing.

Requirements

• Comfortable and experienced with autism

Household notes

• We have an overly friendly cat who loves chin and cheek rubs but does not like her belly touched
• No driving, feeding (beyond the prepared snack), bathing, or bedtime duties are required
