Evening Babysitter for Boys

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to care for our two boys, ages 10 and 4, in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with bedtime routines and enjoy engaging with children in playful activities before winding down for the night.

Schedule

Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 11:00 PM to Friday, August 21, 2026 at 6:00 AM. Flexibility with the end time is preferred, as the schedule may occasionally extend.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dinner for the boys (Jordan will be picked up for football practice at 5:00 PM).
• Engage in one-on-one playtime with Joaquin after Jordan leaves.
• Start bath time for Joaquin around 7:00 PM to ensure he is in pajamas by 8:00 PM.
• Read bedtime stories and provide cuddling for Joaquin.
• Greet Jordan upon his return at 8:30 PM and remind him to stay quiet if Joaquin is asleep.
• Ensure Jordan showers before bed.
• Manage bedtime routines, including feeding, bathing, and settling the children.

No driving is required. Pets are present in the home but will not be in the areas where child care is provided.
