Evening Babysitter for Active Family

We are a warm and active family in Austin, TX, seeking a reliable and energetic babysitter to join our weekday evening routine and occasionally cover date nights.

About the role

You will care for our three children, ages 10, 7, and 5, and should be comfortable around our two friendly dogs, a Corgi and a Whippet, though no dog care is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide the children through shower and pajama routines
• Assist with teeth brushing
• Read stories and facilitate calm evening activities like reading or board games
• For sole-charge date nights, manage dinner, evening activities, and the full bedtime routine independently
• Fold clean kids' laundry
• Keep play areas tidy
• Light kitchen cleanup

Requirements

• Proven childcare experience with elementary-age children
• Comfortable managing three siblings independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to switch between hands-on childcare and light organizing
• Comfortable driving, feeding, bathing, and assisting children with bedtime routines
• Prepared to provide 2–3 strong childcare or family references
