Evening Babysitter for 4-Year-Old

We are seeking a dependable and caring Child Care Assistant to provide non-clinical childcare support for a 4-year-old child at a private office/Kids Center in Vancouver, WA.

About the role

The role is to assist during services provided by a Master's-level clinician, ensuring the child's everyday care and supervision. This position does not involve providing therapy or making clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and play with the child during breaks
• Assist with meals and snacks
• Help with toileting and basic hygiene
• Maintain the child's safety
• Aid in daily routines and transitions
• Light cleanup of toys and eating areas

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Dependable and patient
• Comfortable caring for a young child
• Able to complete a background screening
• Previous childcare experience preferred

Note: There will be a small Maltese present.

Schedule

• Immediate start: part-time for the remainder of this week
• Full-time starting next week: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Pay

$17–$21/hour, based on experience
