Evening Babysitter for 3-Year-Old

About the role

We are a friendly family located in Downtown Jersey City (Paulus Hook Waterfront) seeking a reliable, warm, and engaging babysitter for our 3‑year‑old son. We are looking to start as soon as possible with a flexible start date. No pets are present in the home.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the child from school (a 5‑minute walk from home)
• Supervise and engage with the child through playtime, conversation, and activities
• Provide occasional evening care for date nights

Requirements

• Previous childcare or babysitting experience preferred
• Punctual
• Warm and engaging
• Genuinely enjoys working with young children
• Reliable

Schedule

• Part‑time, Monday to Friday
• Core hours: 12 pm – 5 pm or 3 pm – 5 pm (flexible start)
• Occasional evenings for date nights
