Evening and Weekend Babysitter for Children Aged 4 and 7

About the role

We are seeking a caring and reliable babysitter for two children, aged 4 and 7, in Jacksonville. The position involves working one day a week on Fridays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with occasional mornings or additional days throughout the year. Opportunities for more hours and a potential part-time role may develop.

The candidate should be enthusiastic about growing with our family, establishing a nurturing environment, and occasionally house-sitting, including caring for our 9-year-old dog during weekends away.

Schedule

• Start date: Friday, August 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM
• End date: Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM
• Regular shift: Fridays, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Occasional additional mornings or days as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for two children (ages 4 and 7)
• Occasionally house-sit, including caring for a 9-year-old dog during weekends away
• Integrate seamlessly into our family’s routine without being intrusive

Requirements

• No driving, feeding, bedtime, or bathing duties required
• Dependable and able to establish a trusting relationship with the family
• No responsibility for other pets apart from the dog
