Evening and Overnight Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and attentive babysitter for evening and overnight care in Washington, DC. The position will start at 6 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and end at 9 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. You will be caring for three children: a 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 7-year-old boy.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving dinner, breakfast, and snacks
• Assisting with homework
• Facilitating educational and age-appropriate activities such as reading books
• Diaper changes for the 2-year-old
• Bathroom/potty time every 2 hours for both the 2 and 4-year-olds
• Supporting both morning and bedtime routines, ensuring a smooth transition to and from sleep
• Cleaning up after meals and activities
• Engaging the children in playtime, games, and appropriate movies or TV shows
• Feeding and bathing
• Getting the children to bed on time
