About the role
The Director will lead the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families, overseeing operations, programs, and community impact. This role involves responsibility for program funding, grant compliance, and ensuring outcomes are met, as well as seeking new funding opportunities and strengthening partnerships. The Director will lead staff and ensure high-quality, data-driven service delivery aligned with strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations, programs, and community impact initiatives at the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families.
- Manage program funding, grant compliance, and ensure outcomes are achieved.
- Seek new funding opportunities and strengthen partnerships with community organizations.
- Lead and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, data-driven services aligned with strategic goals.
- Demonstrate understanding of the integrated framework of Workforce and Employment Services, Financial Literacy Education and Coaching, and Access to Public Benefits.
- Apply interviewing and assessment skills, knowledge of human growth and behavior, and understanding of social service systems, workforce, and economic development programs.
- Provide crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible work experience in social services, workforce development, or economic empowerment programs.
- Five years of supervisory experience required.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
