EVA Development SE&I Engineer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at HX5, a teammate company for NASA. The ideal candidate will evaluate SE&I requirements for NASA's commercial partners, ensuring their interfaces meet ISS and Lunar EVA environments. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical documents and providing feedback.

• Evaluate SE&I requirements for NASA's commercial partners
• Ensure interfaces meet ISS and Lunar EVA environments
• Review technical documents and provide feedback

Requisition Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of EVA, space suits, and ability to use lessons learned from historical EVA and vehicle systems
• Demonstrated history of understanding complex systems like those under development for Artemis missions
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including speaking with and presenting to NASA programs, control boards, suit vendor teams, and vehicle vendor teams
• History of reviewing technical documentation and providing meaningful feedback

Requisition Preferences

• Demonstrated ability to work independently to identify issues, prioritize responsibilities, and establish relationships with personnel on NASA teams, suit vendor teams, and vehicle vendor teams
• 5+ years of human spaceflight experience, including 2+ years of direct experience with extravehicular activity equipment, systems, and/or space suits
