EV Charging Interoperability Validation / Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Interoperability Validation: OCPP 1.6 and OCPP 2.0.1; Validate compatibility and functionality.
• Interoperability Validation: DIN70121 and ISO15118; Focus on Autocharge and Plug and Charge functionalities.
• End-to-End System Testing: Collaborate with CPOs to test complete systems, including vehicles, chargers, payment providers, credit card terminals, and backend systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze field data to identify and address performance issues.
• Troubleshooting: Use data mining, system log analysis, and performance testing to resolve technical issues.
• Reproduction and Isolation: Conduct tests to replicate and isolate issues, then develop solutions.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work effectively with various teams to resolve complex issues using a multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Experience: OCPP Standards (OCPP 1.6 required, 2.0.1 preferred), DIN70121, ISO15118, DCFC Standards, Networking Standards, Machine States & Communication Protocols, Diagnostic Tools, Software Development.
• Educational Background: Relevant Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in EV charging industry.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of DC Fast Charging or solution sales with a proven track record of success; POS Systems Knowledge; Troubleshooting and System Experience.
• Soft Skills: Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail, Prioritization.
