About the role

We are seeking an experienced Journey‑level Concrete Carpenter to join our team for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate understands concrete form placement through final finish and takes pride in clean, durable work. As a Concrete Carpenter with PRST, you will support commercial and residential contractors in Eugene, Oregon, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete for flatwork and structural pours.
• Screed, bull float, hand towel, power trowel, edge, and broom finishes.
• Set forms, check grade and slope, and ensure proper drainage.
• Apply surface finishes, textures, and sealers as required.
• Build a skid, assemble furniture, and set up/build forms.
• Read plans and work from grades, elevations, and layout lines.
• Work effectively with crew members, foremen, and pump operators.
• Construct, erect, and install temporary wood, metal, or plastic frameworks.
• Assemble and secure forms, place rebar, strip forms, and manage formwork.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid right‑to‑work documents for employment in the United States.
• 4+ years of hands‑on, current experience in concrete carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixes, set times, and finishing techniques.
• Strong knowledge of construction measuring, carpenter tools, and finishing equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

$32–$35 per hour, paid weekly.
