ETS - Platform Engineering Intern

About the role

Join Nordson’s Global Infrastructure team as an Infrastructure Services Intern. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting network infrastructure, cloud platforms, servers, storage, endpoint management, identity and access management, and enterprise technology operations. The internship offers hands‑on experience with industry‑standard tools, processes, and technologies, including troubleshooting, automation, documentation, system monitoring, and project‑based work that directly supports business operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with infrastructure operations and support activities across multiple technology domains.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support cloud, server, storage, endpoint, and network‑related projects.
• Help maintain system documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams on automation, process improvement, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Analyze system performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in enterprise infrastructure technologies and IT operations.
• Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
• Exposure to networking, operating systems, cloud technologies, scripting, or infrastructure concepts is a plus.
