ETL Software Engineer
About the role
As a data engineer, you will help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create automated, efficient, and effective systems for our clients. You will develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
Responsibilities
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in data engineering projects
- Contribute to the design and implementation of efficient and scalable ETL pipelines
- Build and maintain clean, efficient, and effective data management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects
- Develop and deploy data pipelines and platforms to organize and make disparate data meaningful
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including writing custom transformations and interfaces
- Experience with data modeling principles and data quality concepts
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- High school diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with metadata stores with pointers to unstructured content
- Experience with unstructured datastores

Salary range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
