ETL Engineer

Location: North Chicago, IL Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Contract Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extension Client Type: Direct Client Start Date: Immediate Interview Process: Two virtual interviews and potentially one onsite interview Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ETL Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, and database technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes and working with complex data environments. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with the end client in North Chicago, IL, with an immediate start and a potential transition to a permanent position after the contract period. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience as an ETL Engineer or in a similar data engineering role. Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Strong practical experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Required experience with Cassandra/DataStax. Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, data transformation, and data quality. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work onsite five days a week in North Chicago, IL. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Databricks. Experience with PySpark. Knowledge of Oracle and/or DB2 databases. Experience optimizing ETL performance and handling large datasets. Work Location & Interview Process Location: North Chicago, Illinois.
