ETL Developer Informatica BDM

About the role

A resource with the following technical skill set is needed:

• Understand the design, work with designer and architect, and plan ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Aid in completing design deliverables.
• Perform ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM, create code base, conduct unit testing, and capture test results.
• Occasionally perform independent testing.
• Provide testing support for defect triage and resolution during SIT and UAT phases.
• Create production deployment plans, scheduling sheets, and obtain change approvals from relevant stakeholders.
• Support production deployment and coordinate with production support and infrastructure teams.
• Offer warranty support and investigate and resolve production ETL issues.
• Implement performance tuning using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Show strong knowledge of Hive.
• Show strong Unix and SQL skills.
• Show proficiency in GitLab, CI/CD processes.
• Show excellent communication skills.
• Be capable of working in both onshore and offshore models.
• Additional advantage if candidate has experience with Talend, Snowflake, or Ab Initio.
