ETL Developer (Hybrid)

HEPCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives and related data projects, focusing on Informatica PowerCenter development and administration, data warehouse enhancements, and secure management of healthcare data in a hybrid work environment.

About the role

The ETL Developer will support current and future enterprise data warehouse projects involving ETL processing, Informatica administration, system redesign, and implementation. This role requires translating healthcare and business data requirements into reliable ETL solutions supporting admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resources, payroll, Medicaid, pharmacy, and related data domains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare and business data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and related tools.
• Develop complex Informatica mappings, workflows, and data-integration processes.
• Support Informatica administration and the redesign and implementation of current and future data warehouse projects.
• Participate in data warehouse architecture and design using Kimball methodology, star schemas, and dimensional data-modeling techniques.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to development teams on ETL workflows and database architecture.
• Extract, analyze, and interpret Informatica metadata repository data to improve ETL operations and project delivery.
• Implement Oracle Virtual Private Database and Fine-Grained Auditing controls to protect Medicaid, pharmacy, HIPAA-protected, and other sensitive healthcare information.
• Develop and maintain complex UNIX or Linux scripts for file validation, FTP processing, and workflow monitoring.
• Perform Informatica administration activities, including installation, patching, deployment, metadata analysis, code migration, and repository optimization.

Requirements

• At least 84 months of experience using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x or later and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud within a data warehouse environment, including developing complex mappings.
• At least 84 months of Informatica PowerCenter administration experience, including installation, patching, metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization.
• At least 84 months of experience with relational data management and Oracle technologies, including Oracle Virtual Private Database and Fine-Grained Auditing in an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• At least 84 months of experience analyzing and converting data from heterogeneous healthcare systems into ETL solutions.
• Experience working with admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resources, payroll, Medicaid, and pharmacy data.
• At least 60 months of experience working with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.
• At least 60 months of experience leading or collaborating with developers on ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare data experience, a strong understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. Experience supporting highly regulated and secure data environments is strongly preferred.

Pay

$55.00–$65.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

40 hours per week.
