About the role
Lush is seeking a Campaigns Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about shifting public awareness, driving legislative change, and engaging with external groups working towards a better world.
Responsibilities
- Highlight and suggest partnerships with progressive grassroots organizations, NGOs, and movements.
- Propose creative angles for US campaigns, focusing on underrepresented or misrepresented groups.
- Maintain authentic and respectful relationships with external partner organizations, activists, and charities.
- Communicate complex ethical or legislative topics into clear, inspiring educational materials.
- Write compelling campaign copy for internal and external communication.
- Create and execute creative concepts for store windows, in-store activations, and public stunts.
- Collaborate with the PR team to secure meaningful earned media coverage.
- Provide post-campaign feedback to staff, including impact reporting and outcomes.
- Participate in key business meetings to provide strategic guidance on ethical positions.
Requirements
- A proven portfolio of existing experience and relationships within the US charity, NGO, or grassroots activist sectors.
- 3+ years of experience managing and rolling out successful ethical or grassroots campaigns.
- A deep, intersectional understanding of current affairs across environmental defense, animal rights, and social justice.
- Highly organized, methodical, and capable of coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering presentations and training.
- A track record of planning and executing public-facing campaigns.
- Outstanding project management attributes.
