Qualifications

Teaching applicants must be NH certified to teach Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Uses effective strategies for differentiation.
• Interacts positively, professionally, showing respect with students and parents.
• Engages students in lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills.
• Implements instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
• Serves as an inspiration and motivator for students' learning and collaborates with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
• Pursues continuous professional development, reflects on teaching practices, and maintains efficient work habits for lesson planning, meeting deadlines, and adhering to schedules.
• Prepares lesson plans and oversees the implementation of modifications and objectives defined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student in their caseload.
• Taughts general classroom education material in the student-specific modality.

Pay

$35 per hour
