Estimator (Residential)

This role is with a privately held civil construction firm specializing in residential site development projects. The team focuses on delivering high-quality results across sitework scopes, including earthwork, utilities, grading, paving, and erosion control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential site development projects.
• Support pre-construction efforts and collaborate with leadership to ensure competitive, high-quality bids.
• Estimate projects ranging from $5M–$50M.
• Analyze sitework scopes including erosion control, clearing, grading, utilities, and paving.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Work with subcontractors, vendors, and engage in pricing negotiations.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience within civil construction.
• Strong background in residential site development projects.
• Proficiency with AGTEK software (strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
