Responsibilities

• Generate material estimates, operate estimating software, operate TaperPlus, and design and estimate tapered roof insulation systems for the commercial roofing industry.
• Design: Receive roof plans, review, modify, and release plans using Taper Plus.
• Quoting: Send product quotes to customers. Get quotes from vendors.
• Communication: Consistent and clear communication between branch personnel, vendors and directly with contractors through email, phone and in person.
• Record Keeping: Assist team with order entry and inventory inquiries. Responsible for “filing” all jobs that have been quoted so they can be easily accessed up until 2 years from date of quote.
• Accountability: Reports directly to the Branch Manager.
• Product Knowledge: Learn or know where to find information on characteristics, uses and benefits of the entire line of products that can be used in the marketplace. Gain knowledgeable on non-commodity & specialty products.

Qualifications

• Basic elements of English language usage, spelling, and mathematics.
• Ability to utilize computers including word processing programs.
• Knowledge of office methods, practices, and procedures, and ability to make mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships as part of a team effort with those contacted in the performance of duties, in include all employees and customers.
