Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
Obtains, calculates, and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates.
- Prepares routine estimates under general supervision.
- Supports the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson of job elements.
- Leads the documentation management of the project, ensuring all documents are complete and clearly conveys decisions made to sales and operations teams.
- Attends pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scope.
- Participates in bid closings and estimate reviews.
- Balances workload and assignments to meet deadlines.
- Develops a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient.
- Manages action items from Post Bid and finalizes ISEC scope.
- Computes cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor.

Education/Experience
- Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum Qualifications: 0 – 4 years of experience.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Bids are accurate and profitable.
- Basic knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects.
- Understands project plans and specifications.
- Independently performs most assignments with instruction.
- Works autonomously at times.
- Sets seeks guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisor approval for changes in standards.
- Engages in company culture.
- Open to feedback and flexible to change.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
