Estimator - Great Retention & Growth - Charleston

Description

• Analyzing construction blueprints and other documents to prepare time frames, costs, material, and labor estimates
• Preparing bid packages, development budgets, and analyzing subcontractor bids for use in conceptual and bid proposal estimates
• Establishing material pricing and conducting takeoffs
• Working closely with construction project management team to maintain estimate throughout project
• Conguring with vendors and internal project teams to resolve issues
• Establishing and maintaining strong subcontractor relationships

Profile

• At least 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience with a GCA
• Able to perform take-offs and organize material pricing
• Must be a self-starter and understand deadlines
• Must have good phone and excellent people skills
• Proficient with project/estimating related software including iSqFt, ProCore, Sage, On-Screen Takeoff
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)

Pay

Base salary depending on experience, $110,000-$140,000 with flexibility contingent on experience
