About the role
Responsible for estimating costs and preparing bid documents for construction projects in the Foundation Division.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and site conditions to provide accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed bid documents including scope of work, pricing, and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to inform cost estimations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction contract laws and bidding processes.
Skills
- Proficient in using construction estimating software.
- Strong attention to detail.
