Estimator- Electrical
About the role
DPR Construction is seeking an experienced electrical estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience on commercial construction projects, specifically within the healthcare, advanced technology, bio-pharmaceutical, and corporate office sectors.
Responsibilities
- Create conceptual budgets and design development through construction document estimating (including quantification and pricing).
- Work closely with the Orlando regional management team and the pre-construction estimating team.
- Interact with the subcontractor community.
- Present estimates and budgets to owners and consultants.
- Prepare and analyze electrical bid packages.
Qualifications
- Flexible and detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Effective participation in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Timberline software.
- Experience as a commercial construction electrical estimator within DPR’s core market projects (7+ years preferred).
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to project sites.
Skills
Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff is a plus.
