About the role

Looking for a career, not just another job? Speedwell Construction is seeking a motivated, energetic individual who wants to build a career in commercial construction estimating. You don't need years of estimating experience—we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent computer skills, excitement about technology, and the determination to learn from one of the best in the industry. You'll work side-by-side with our seasoned estimator, gaining hands-on experience preparing competitive bids for commercial construction projects while developing the skills needed to become a successful estimator.

Responsibilities

• Contact subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Build relationships with trade partners
• Assist with preparing bids and proposals
• Organize bid documents and project information
• Learn how to interpret plans and specifications
• Support pre-bid meetings and estimating activities
• Develop the skills to become a commercial construction estimator

Requirements

Construction experience is a plus but not required. If you have the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn, we'll teach you the estimating side of the business.
