Core Duties

  • Lead the safety effort by including safety of team members in the estimating/bidding process
  • Review advertisements for bid opportunities
  • Cultivate, maintain relationships with owners
  • Define scope to be priced, communicate with rest of estimating team
  • Ensure pricing is procured for all scopes
  • Complete accurate bids/budgets on projects
  • Cooky document review in a timely manner
  • Submit questions for clarifications and distribute answers accordingly
  • Review takeoffs for accuracy
  • Select subcontractors to request pricing and analyze for best price
  • Negotiate with subcontractors as needed to meet project requirements and budgets
  • Review addenda and incorporate as needed
  • Negotiate with owners/developers/general contractors
  • Provide package for Project Managers and Superintendents prior to construction
