The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for precast concrete products and related services, supporting sales, engineering, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, architectural plans, and project specifications to determine scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, material calculations, and cost analyses.
• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals in a timely manner (Responsiveness).
• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and production teams to validate feasibility, mold requirements, and lead times (Teamwork).
• Demonstrate initiative by independently driving tasks to completion and seeking continuous improvement (Self‑Motivated).

• Identify issues early and provide effective value‑engineering and problem‑solving solutions (Problem‑Solving).
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Maintain cost databases, historical pricing, and standardized estimating tools.
• Participate in bid reviews, clarification discussions, and project handoff meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in estimating or quoting within construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, Excel).
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively within cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrates initiative and strong personal drive.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a results‑oriented mindset.
