Job Summary
The role of the Estimator is to work among Business Development, Project Management and Construction teams to prepare estimates, schedules, technical execution plans, proposals, and other client required materials to complete a project based on the provided plans, drawings and other specifications. This is a full time office position that will report to the Estimating Manager and will office in Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities
- Work with Business Development, Project Management and Construction teams to prepare estimates, schedules, technical execution plans, proposals, and other client required materials to complete a project based on the provided plans, drawings and other specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, providing detailed cost breakdowns and timelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of company standards and procedures related to estimating and proposal preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience with construction estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
- Understanding of contract documents and construction contracts.
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to travel as needed to support project sites.
Skills
