Job Summary

The role of the Estimator is to work among Business Development, Project Management and Construction teams to prepare estimates, schedules, technical execution plans, proposals, and other client required materials to complete a project based on the provided plans, drawings and other specifications. This is a full-time office position that will operate in Scott, LA.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Development, Project Management and Construction teams to prepare estimates, schedules, technical execution plans, proposals, and other client required materials to complete a project based on the provided plans, drawings and other specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project materials.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients.
• Contribute to the development of technical execution plans and schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction estimating, project management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction contract terms and conditions.
• Understanding of construction cost estimation techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
