Responsibilities
In the role of Estimator I, we'll count on you to:
- Develop, evaluate, compile, and present scope and cost data for construction and project estimates
- Work on estimates that may be order of magnitude for planning purposes, preliminary for evaluation/study purposes, or definitive for proposal or proposal comparison purposes
- Demonstrate understanding and ability to interrupt construction plans and specifications with respect to preparing cost estimates
- Take responsibility for completeness and accuracy of estimates within defined parameters
- Work on estimates that may reflect any part or total project, or changes to the project
- Coordinate with design and construction staff to obtain estimate scope and schedule data upon which to base estimates
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience
- Fundamental knowledge of General Contracting, EPC construction methods, processes, and procedures, in addition to general construction industry methods, terminology, working practices and organizational structure
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, cost estimating and project control software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous field experience
- Knowledge and understanding of MEP systems
- Project experience to include: Data Center, Chip Manufacturing, Industrial, Healthcare or Lab Science
- Experience with Sage, Timberline, Bluebeam, Revit, HCSS, Excel, Navisworks or Synchro
- Certifications (one or more): AEP, CCT, CEP, CACM, CMIT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, EIT
- Ability to interpret construction schedules

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location: $56,592 - $106,375

Full-time
