Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, compile, and present scope and cost data for construction and project estimates.
  • Work on estimates that may be order of magnitude for planning purposes, preliminary for evaluation/study purposes, or definitive for proposal or proposal comparison purposes.
  • Demonstrate understanding and ability to interpret construction plans and specifications with respect to preparing cost estimates.
  • Take responsibility for completeness and accuracy of estimates within defined parameters.
  • Work on estimates that may reflect any part or total project, or changes to the project.
  • Coordinate with design and construction staff to obtain estimate scope and schedule data upon which to base estimates.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of General Contracting, EPC construction methods, processes, and procedures, in addition to general construction industry methods, terminology, working practices, and organizational structure.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, cost estimating, and project control software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous field experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of MEP systems.
  • Preferred project experience to include: Data Center, Chip Manufacturing, Industrial, Healthcare, or Lab Science.
  • Experience with Sage, Timberline, Bluebeam, Revit, HCSS, Excel, Navisworks, or Synchro.
  • Certifications (one or more): AEP, CCT, CEP, CACM, CMIT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, EIT.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $56,592 - $106,375, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

Full-time.
